From the initial survey through to completion, our OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) approved installers will provide you with expert advice, including a recommendation for the optimum location for your EV Charger and how to apply for your Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) grant.
EVHS Grant and how to apply
Receive £350 towards the cost of installing your home charger. EVHS will provide a grant that covers up to 75% of the total cost of installation, to a maximum of £350*
To qualify for this grant, you must own an eligible electric vehicle and use an OLEV approved installer to carry out the work.
An additional grant is allowed for a second charger if your household has two electric cars.

The Workplace Charging Scheme and what you can claim
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a government-led voucher scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge points. The scheme is available to all sectors including commercial businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
The WCS scheme offers up to £350 towards the installation cost of each charging outlet, up to a maximum of 40 outlets (£14,000 maximum grant*)
It is available to businesses who have an existing or future requirement for the charging of electric vehicles for their staff, customers or fleet.

The Zappi charger is the only EV charger on the market that functions as a normal EV charger (drawing power from the grid) while also enabling you to charge your electric vehicle solely or partly from wind or solar power.
If you have alternative forms of energy production such as wind turbines or solar power at your home or business, then the Zappi charger is the correct choice for you.
The Zappi is wired to your main electrical switchboard and will automatically switch between renewable energy sources and mains electricity depending on the amount of power produced from on-site sources.
Of course, suppose you don’t have access to your own green energy. In that case, then the Zappi will also operate as an ordinary EV charging station and draw power from your home or business electricity supply.
Zappi also comes with a range of smart add-on accessories, enabling you to monitor and control your energy use from any location.
